This position will play an integral role in supporting Thomas University's Quality Enhancement Plan, which emphasizes Information Literacy through curricular and service-learning activities. This position reports to the library director, and will also work closely with the coordinators of the QEP, particularly in providing faculty/staff training in Information Literacy standards and developing students' ability to utilize resources. Other responsibilities include managing collections and providing general library service to users. Required qualifications: Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program; extensive knowledge of ACRL Information Literacy Competency Standards and experience working in an Information Literacy program; thorough knowledge of current academic library services; ability to work as a member of a team and communicate effectively; and a strong commitment to public service. Preferred qualifications: Experience providing Information Literacy training to faculty and staff; experience delivering library services to commuting students and students at off-site locations.
