The third offering will be held from 4 - 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, at the world headquarters of UPS. It will be led by Tim Hussey, APR, director of interactive communications for Agnes Scott College, and Kristen Petrella, co-manager of the UPS pressroom and PR spokesperson. The seminar provides insight on how writing for the Web differs from writing for other mediums such as feature stories, brochures and annual reports and includes tips on how to successfully craft online messages. Highlights include: * Critical elements that are a must for every Web site * Writing for different Web sites and audiences, such as e-commerce, B-to-B and non-profit * Developing and maintaining a top-notch press room * Review of effective and non-effective Web sites * Discussions of writing for intranets versus extranets The fee to attend is $25 for members and $35 for non-members, which includes refreshments and speaker handouts. Parking is free in UPS parking garage "A." When coming from the Glenlake Parkway intersection closest to Georgia 400, take the first UPS driveway on your right.
