Ringling is an outstanding institution with wonderful, diverse, and creative students (RAs are truly amazing!!!), and these positions are newly configured positions (formerly Coordinator level).  The Office of Residence Life is strategically building and growing to meet the needs of our increasing student population, including the Summer 2022 implementation of new housing software and the planning of a new residential complex for Fall 2025.  It would be an amazing professional development opportunity for newer professional to have experience with both projects.

 

Master’s degree and previous residence life experience (undergraduate or graduate) are required.  Operations position will focus on the implementation of the new software, housing assignments, and the development of a housing operations manual.  Education position will focus on staff selection, training, assessment, and the development of protocol/response manual.  Both positions report to a Director (returning staff members) who also reside on campus.  We have an extremely collaborative working environment.

 

Both positions are live-on, in newer furnished apartments with a meal plan (a new 28,000 sq. ft. dining facility opening January 2023!).  Rising housing costs in the Sarasota area, make this a great benefit for anyone relocating to the area, and the sun/beaches are also spectacular!  Obviously, this year more than ever the competition for exceptional candidates is fierce, so any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.  I am happy to answer any questions directly for potential candidates (my contact information is below), but I truly don’t want strong candidates to miss out on these opportunities.  Both positions are currently now vacant, and for your convenience, below are the direct links to the position descriptions/job application.
