Orientation and Transition Programs at Miami University (Oxford, OH) is searching for an Assistant Director!
The Assistant Director is responsible for supporting and contributing to the transition experiences for first-year and transfer students in collaboration with other University offices and departments. The primary areas of responsibility for the Assistant Director are first-year orientation, transfer orientation, first-year programming including contributing to the implementation and development of the first-year experience course, pre-semester programming, and Welcome Weekend and First 50 Days activities. Application review will begin on January 10, 2022 and the position posting will remain available until the position is filled.
The proposed position start date is mid-March, 2022. The successful candidate will have the option to begin full-time on-campus or to work remotely on a temporary basis through May 31, 2022. Work in-person on the Oxford campus must begin no later than June 1, 2022. If the successful candidate has not completed their master’s degree by the start date, their continued employment is contingent on the confirmation of degree conferral by June 1, 2022.
