The ASOSU SafeRide Program is excited to announce the opening of our search to fill the vacant ASOSU SafeRide Coordinator position. This position is a full-time 1.0 FTE Professional Faculty posting. --POSITION SUMMARY--
The ASOSU SafeRide Program, within OSU’s Office of the Dean of Students, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term SafeRide Coordinator position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the supervisor.
The SafeRide Program Coordinator is a professional faculty position aligned within the Office of the Dean of Students, supporting and supervising the operations of the SafeRide program. The position will provide primary day-to-day guidance, support, and supervision for the students of the SafeRide program grounded in best practices and principles of student development, and models of student leadership. The position will also represent the program across campus and the broader Corvallis and Philomath communities.
SafeRide is a service dedicated to providing an alternative safer ride home, or to campus, for Oregon State University students. SafeRide operates throughout the Corvallis and Philomath communities, and is open to all OSU students on the Corvallis campus. The SafeRide program operates under the guidance of four core values: Safety, Comfort, Integrity, and Student-Focused.
