I would like to announce that the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs at Florida International University was the recipient of an Office of Post-Secondary Education grant over the next three years to establish a Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success. This funding was provided to increase persistence, retention, and graduation rates of student Veterans at FIU. It will also develop processes and procedures to track employment rates of student Veterans at FIU in partnership with the Office of Career & Talent Development.

 

With this funding, the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs will hiring a Program Manager and Academic Coordination to oversee the outcomes of the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success. Additionally, this project will develop a model program to support veteran student success in postsecondary education by coordinating services to address the academic, financial, physical, and social needs of veteran students. Please feel free to share this two opportunities with qualified candidates.
