Starting Salary Expectations

$47,335 to $50,709 (Step 3); based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Position Summary

This position assists the Women’s Resource Center Coordinator in planning, implementing and supporting programs sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center. The Women's Resource Center welcomes and serves all genders. Our programming centering women includes all women -trans women, cis women, and anyone else who identifies as a woman. Successful incumbents will work across the college and collaborate with other leaders on equity issues related to the activities of the Women’s Resource Center. These include but are not limited to specific programs including, Women’s Leadership and the Black Women’s Empowerment League. The incumbent assists with recruitment and intake, and provides ongoing case management to program participants who continue their education. The incumbent may also develop and deliver classroom instruction based on programming needs. The position requires the incumbent to provide services based on HB 3476 as described and support survivors of intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and all forms of sexual violence.

-Demonstrated experience providing advocacy to survivors of intimate partner violence/domestic violence/sexual violence and/or other forms of trauma.
-Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt emerging frameworks for understanding gender diversity and nuance to apply a critical intersectional lens.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively across systems, both cultural and institutional.
-Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual and/or intercultural communication skills a plus.
-Demonstrated ability to identify and interrupt systems of oppression.
-Demonstrated ability to facilitate group development with specific populations; including Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), people with disabilities, people with marginalized identities, gender diverse, and trans women.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Arts, Multicultural Studies, Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, Social Justice, Sociology, Psychology, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Three years of experience in a diverse setting coordinating services or programs, to include one year of experience specific to the population served in the area of assignment.
