The office of Student Activities and Involvement is in the process of recruiting for the Assistant Director of Student Activities and Involvement, job #1342.
The Assistant Director of Student Activities and Involvement contributes to the learning outcomes and goals of the Student Activities and Involvement department by advising the implementation and evaluation of student organization created programs and initiatives, encouraging alignment with the University’s mission and co-curricular learning outcomes. The Assistant Director cultivates relationships with individual students and student groups with whom they are assigned to work and acts as a liaison between students and other campus departments as well as off-campus partners. Their advising ensures that student organizations’ goals for their events are met.
The Assistant Director will serve as the primary advisor to the Torero Program Board. They will encourage the development and coordination of comprehensive programming which consists of educational, social, and inclusive events for the University of San Diego undergraduate student body. The purpose of these activities is to promote student engagement, enhance the sense of community on campus, increase Torero pride and student retention, further student leadership development and advance the educational value of the student involvement experience.
