Good Afternoon!

Rocky Top had some very good moments yesterday. The Volunteer Community gathered at the Rock, in the rain, and played! We came together to remember the commitment we made last year to inclusion and belonging for all, to celebrate that sense of community, and to take action….Volunteer Action! If you weren’t partying with the music, you were hanging out in the VOLunteer Fair with over 150 Vols and 30 community partners making plans to change our world. Take a look for yourself…..

This is a quick shout out to your CSP peers who made this possible by being the servant leaders who did whatever needed to be done! Christopher Kelly and Laura Ketola (and the entire CLS Office) tirelessly coached the two Leadership Studies minor (LSM) undergraduates (Jessyca Ford and Elaina Emery) who chose to make a campus-wide belongingness project their Capstone.  Abby Brumfield, as always, had our Student Government Leaders back as they made “storming the rock” a theme that brought students out in a thunderstorm. Ashley Moyer gave early “behind the scenes advice” to the early organizers for how to “do it right” and supported our The Org Students.  There are so many to thank, but I’ve highlighted here folks that were either on the Planning Group or supported students who were.

Go Vols!
