Consider joining the team at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA  - an urban, R1: doctoral university, large public university with an extremely diverse campus community. The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) is a resource for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) students, faculty and staff. The primary mission of OMSA is to foster inclusive environments by educating the campus community about cultural diversity, racial and ethnic identities, gender identity, sexual orientation, and intersectionality.

The Assistant Director serves as an advisor, mentor, and advocate for underserved and underrepresented student groups and student organizations on campus, in particular student who identify as Black/African American, Latinx, Asian, and Pacific Islander, and LGBTQIA+. This person is responsible for the oversight and planning of the programs, workshops and training sessions that promote goals and values of a diverse and inclusive campus for students and the entire university community.
