I have been asked to send out the attached flyer as well as the information below regarding a fundraising campaign taking place to raise money for the Restoration of the Blount County War Dead Memorial. Here is a link to a story that the Daily Times did on the restoration needs. http://www.thedailytimes.com/opinion/our_voice/blount-county-war-dead-memorial-restoration-fund-needs-donations/article_6b850e93-8471-5782-b55e-d2d65209937f.html
The Veterans Walk of Honor will be a permanent commemorative walkway lined with bricks engraved with the names of honored men and women who have served our great country.

Profits from this fund raiser will go directly to the War Dead Memorial rebuilding. Bricks will be sold for installation in the Walk of Honor for $150 each. Additional bricks may be purchased at a cost of $50 for anyone wanting this keepsake for their home.
18 characters per line maximum. Three lines maximum. All text will be approved by the War Dead Memorial Committee.
If you are interested in purchasing a brick, please print the attached application and send in your check made out to United Veterans of Blount County, and mail to UVBC, 305 Court Street, Maryville, YN 37804
