For all the public relations and marketing folks out there who want to
know who's who in the local creative community, attend the fourth annual
Creative Exchange this coming week, Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Wednesday, Oct.
6 at the Knoxville Museum of Art.
This event brings together marketing people with folks in every creative
field imaginable, from visual artists (illustrators, photographers,
graphic designers, etc.) and performance artists (local jazz, blues and
other bands, dance and theater groups) to multimedia specialists, web
designers, printers and copywriters.
The Creative Exchange is a fantastic place to get some good ideas and
business cards for your next project that could use a creative touch,
whether it's a print or broadcast ad, a new web site, a marketing
campaign or an event.
While the speaker and panelist presentations taking place on Tuesday
might interest you, most of you will probably have the greatest interest
in attending the event on Wednesday, October 6 (11 a.m. - 8 p.m.).
That's "Exhibit Day," when all the creative folks will have booths
displaying their work. There will also be bands playing and great food
(compliments of Rothchild's Catering).
The event is supported by generous sponsorships from The Knoxville
News-Sentinel, Apple Computer, IPIX and Lockheed-Martin. You can get
more information on The Creative Exchange's web site,
www.creativex.usit.com. All proceeds benefit the KMA's educational
programs.
Hope to see you there, and let me know if you have any questions
(549-2243).
Thanks,
