I'm an author of a leading college business textbook in my field. I've
been using e-mail as a pr tool (I send a monthly newsletter with tidbits
for lectures, trade book reviews, hot Web sites, cases for profs to use in
their classes, etc.) In what ways could I make the newsletter more
effective? What other ways can I get value out of my database of 3,500
e-mail addresses without turning off the professors as being blatantly
promotional? Any ideas or proposals?
