Subject: SN PDE and Applications, ONLINE, Feb 2021

After a 2-month winter break, we're excited to announce the re-launch
of the "SN Partial Differential Equations and Applications" Webinar on
February 8!

With this weekly Webinar, our goal is to contribute an initiative to
foster the communication of PDE- related research during these trying
times. Just as the journal of the same name, the SN PDEA Webinar is
aiming to bridge the areas of Mathematical Analysis, Computational
Mathematics and applications of Mathematics in the Sciences. The first
three presentations will be given by Huyen Pham (Universite Paris
Diderot), Eitan Tadmor (University of Maryland), and Diogo Gomes
(KAUST).

Starting on February 8, Webinars will take place on Mondays on a
weekly basis at 9am EST, 3pm CET. They will be held via Zoom and will
be free to attend.

Registration for the webinar series is now open at (if you already
registered last year, your old personalised Zoom link will continue to
work)

Subject: Numerical Positions, Arm, UK

Arm is looking for high quality applicants for two open positions in
our numerical libraries team. These positions will be based in
Manchester, UK.

Arm Performance Libraries is the vendor BLAS, LAPACK, FFT and sparse
linear algebra solution for the Arm architecture. Work here includes
all aspects of the product, from implementing new algorithms and
optimizing parallel implementations to writing highly performant
assembly.

Arm RAN Acceleration Library is intended for customers deploying 5G
solutions. This is a small user base, but with a very large expected
deployment across the world, every optimization in this library is
highly important. Development areas are the set of network
operations, which includes large numbers of linear algebra cases.

In addition to working with colleagues developing similar products,
you will have plenty of opportunities to grow your sphere of
influence, collaborating with the architects of both the architecture
itself and individual core designs.
