UTFS Notice - First want to say we really appreciate the patience and cooperation we received from all those affected by the outages this past weekend.  Your willingness to work with us and assist during the process made our jobs a lot easier.

Have been getting questions asking if we are through with power outages as a result of the problems with the switch at SERF.  While we have been terming the current installation as temporary, this temporary solution may be in place for some time.  We are working toward what we would like to do as a permanent solution.  That solution will require some significant funding, and then some time to complete after that.  Be assured we consider the current installation as stable and reliable.

We do still need to connect SERF to our backup circuit 2.  We anticipate this can be completed without an outage to SERF.

In summary, unless something else happens, we do not anticipate further outages as a result of the problems this past weekend.
