Subject: Chief of Resource Management and Science - Outer Banks Group
To:
Please pass this information along to anyone that you think might be interested in the Outer Banks Group's Chief of Resource Management and Science.
The Division Chief will manage a complex, challenging, and rewarding interdisciplinary suite of programs including natural and cultural resource management, applied scientific research, and planning and compliance. The Chief will lead and continually adapt these programs for Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National Memorial.
This is an amazing opportunity for an innovative, driven, and collaborative leader to build a science-informed program, develop partnerships, and find solutions for high profile and, often-times, controversial management challenges.
The position also serves as a key member of the Outer Banks Group's Leadership Team - the team that collectively manages the three park units and strongly values relevancy, inclusion, diversity, and the importance of maintaining a respectful workplace.
We have announced the job for existing government employees and all U.S. citizens. Both announcements can be seen below.
The application period closes on November 28, 2016.
