Don't forget, our first Ashe Lecture of the semester is this Thursday (Sept. 8) featuring 
Atlantic Council director and former Ambassador John Herbst (Ukraine and Uzbekistan) on 
"National Security Policy:  The Failure of the Policy Elite and the Dangers of Popular 
Reaction" at 5:30 pm in the Toyota Auditorium. It is free and open to the public. 

Our next program will be in honor of Constitution Day, Monday, Sept. 19, Noon at the 
HODGES LIBRARY for a Baker Cafe discussion on Amendment 2 with John Scheb and Hemant 
Sharma, UT Political Science professors and UT Chief of Police, Troy Lane.  Join us on the 
2nd floor of Hodges Library and check out the UT Libraries display, register to vote and sign 
our Constitution!
