Attached is a listing of our Spring 2016 events. We will remind you of these throughout the
semester, but please do share and help us promote these events.
A couple of unique events created by our students include a partnership with UT Mortar
Board and our version of "The Last Lecture" given by Dr. George Schweitzer on March 2,
5:30 pm and Voterpalooza on Feb. 10 from 5-8 pm where students will be campaigning for
their candidates and sharing platforms.
Also, as a reminder this is the last week to register to vote. Completed forms must be in
your Election Commission office by Feb. 1 to vote in the March 1 Primary. We have forms
and will mail them for you IF they are completed and in our box by Friday, Jan. 29, Noon.
The Baker Center will serve as a voting site for the first time and we are happy to see such
a great use of the Baker Center!
Feb. 11, 1-2:30 pm is the first Energy and Environmental Forum - "What the History of
Coca-Cola Can Teach Us about Building an Environmentally Sustainable Economy" with Dr.
Bart Elmore, Univ. of Alabama.
