Dear SEASECS members,
As you head out for the summer, please begin thinking about possible panel and/or
paper submissions for the 2016 SEASECS Annual Meeting which will take place
February 25-27 in Savannah, Georgia. The theme of the conference is “East and
West: The Broad Expanse of the Eighteenth Century,” so as you travel to various
continents this summer for research (or more importantly, leisure), think of how
you can incorporate your work into next year’s meeting. Panel proposals for the
2016 meeting are due by September 1, and proposals for completed panels and
individual papers are due November 1. I have attached the flyer for the 2016
meeting that includes additional conference details.
If you have any questions, please let me know since I am serving as the program
chair. We are fortunate to have Chris Hendricks handling local accommodations,
and I know that he has an exciting array of activities planned for the meeting! I
hope you will join us for the 42nd Annual Meeting of SEASECS.
Best,
Keith Pacholl
