 First, thank you for hosting the wiki for so long. I talked to Mary a little bit here and we'll come up w/ a plan to migrate/host it somewhere via intern labor or other means. 

All: Is there a need to have a central repository for this type of cross-center information that this wiki could be the start of? I'd like to propose that topic for our next call on May 1.

Dear CollabIT friends and community,

NESCent currently hosts the wiki for this community at https://www.nescent.org/wg_collabsci/Main_Page. As you are probably aware, NESCent is closing this summer, and we are making plans for transfer, archival and deletion of digital resources that we host. 

Does this resource continue to have value to this community? If so, we welcome proposals for transferring hosting the wiki and/or its contents.
A proposal should include a plan for transfer of content, information on where the resulting site would be hosted and a statement about plans for future sustainability of the resource.

If we receive no expressions of interest in transfer of hosting before May 15, 2015, we will prepare for taking the wiki offline when NESCent closes. Since the wiki is public, we will place an XML dump of its contents in a public archive.

FYI, we have now upgraded the MediaWiki version and installed the Google Login plugin because Google's OpenID support is sunset as of yesterday.
We can provide dumps of the wiki in the official XML formats or in other ways. An exact timetable for transfer can be negotiated.
