My name is Dmitriy and I'm a veteran of US Army. I recently became a certified level 1 DDP Yoga instructor. Next Level Training has learned of my interest in helping other vets and we decided to sponsor a class for veterans pro bono. Due to depression, stress in grad school, I got really out of shape. I tried to get back in shape but my body was broken and I couldn't do the things I used to be able to do. It wasn't until I discovered DDP Yoga, a little over a year ago, that my life changed. I was initially inspired by another vet, Arthur Boorman. You can check out his video below. Countless studies show how beneficial Yoga can be to veterans. It heals your mind and your body. Also DDP Yoga "ain't your mamas yoga" and designed specifically for people who otherwise wouldn't be caught dead doing "Yoga."
