All,
I just spent an hour to find a very simple solution, so I thought I'd relay that in
case anyone else runs into something similar.
This applies to you if you
- "Send mail as" your UTK address through gmail, i.e. you log in to Gmail with
[log in to unmask] and when you compose a message, the From box reads
[log in to unmask], etc.
- and changed your UTK netid password
Whenever you change your UTK netid password, you also have to update your
smtp settings in Gmail with the new password
1. Go to Settings (Gear in top right) > Settings > Accounts and Import > Send
mail as:
2. For each UTK alias, e.g. [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]
3. Click edit info > Next Step
4. Enter your new UTK password
5. Click Save Changes
Hope this helps someone
Best,
Austin
