The School of Art Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for undergraduate scholarships.
Applications are due in the School of Art office by Monday, March 30th by 5:00 p.m. (see attachment)
Art History papers must be turned in by 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 3rd
Art history students are eligible for the Buck Ewing scholarship, which is a substantial scholarship, and the Bookstore awards, which are small amounts to be used in the bookstore. Ewing eligibility requires students have at least two semesters left in the School of Art and at least one semester left in their major. There are no restrictions on the Bookstore awards.
The art history portfolio must consist of at least 6 pages of written work (exam essays and/or papers), completed within the past 2 years. Turn in 2 complete copies to the School of Art office by the deadline.
Keep in mind that the deadline for the following awards will also be coming up around the end of March, beginning of April:
Dorothy Dille and Charles Pfitzer Undergraduate Travel Award:
Travel funding to support artistic and research projects or scholarly activity.
Terry Burnette Memorial Residency/Internship Award:
Supports pursuit of residency and/or internship opportunities.
Orin B. & Emma G. Graf Study Abroad Scholarship:
Funding to extend academic studies outside of the United States.
