POSITION AVAILABLE FOR UTK GRADUATE STUDENT:
PEACE CORPS CAMPUS REPRESENTATIVE, UTK
Exciting part-time position available in the Center for International Education at
the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Duties: promotes Peace Corps on campus
to the student body, faculty, and media; coordinates with the Atlanta Regional
Office; submits monthly reports. The position reports to Dr. Pia Wood, Associate
Provost, Center for International Education.
Benefits: Tuition Waiver, health insurance, and a stipend of approximately
$14,500-16,500. This is a nine month position following the normal academic
school year with the potential of remaining in the position for an additional 2
academic years.
Qualifications:
Must be a returned Peace Corps volunteer and an accepted or current graduate
student at UT. Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative and
ability to work independently. Must be able to work flexible hours including
occasional evenings and weekends. Must be able to maintain regular office hours
20 hours/week during academic semesters.
Position begins in August 2015 and ends in May 2016. Training will be conducted
in August prior to start of school year. (Availability for some training in May 2015
would be a positive)
