The student veterans at UTK officially have their own student group (VOLFighters). If you are interested in joining this group please send an email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> please include your name and email address so that we can add you to our UT organization page.

We are in the process of getting an agenda together for fall. Since this group is a brand new just established group all ideas are welcome. This group was started by veterans for veterans. This a service/networking/social opportunity to meet other veterans at UT and partner with veteran companies/agencies/organizations in the community and surrounding area. We are an official SVA chapter (Student Veterans of America).

The membership criteria is below;

Membership is open to any student who served in the US military, reservist, national guard, or active duty. It is also open to graduates of UTK who are veterans, reservists, national guard, or active duty. It is open to faculty/staff members as “advisory” members. You may also apply if you are a dependent of a veteran and have a general interest in serving our veterans at UTK.
