TGIF on this beautiful morning!
Don't forget, our last event of the spring semester is Monday, May 5 at 1 pm in
the Toyota Auditorium. Dr. Sam Weaver of Proton Power,
http://www.protonpower.com/ will provide an illustrated talk on their process for
clean, renewable energy developed from inexpensive hydrogen on demand from
biomass and waste sources. The core technology, referred to as Cellulose to
Hydrogen Power (CHyP), can be used to develop energy all the ways we use it:
heat, electricity, or liquid fuel (gasoline, diesel or jet fuel). The CHyP process is
carbon negative with additional environmental benefits. More information can be
found at www.bakercenter.utk.edu
The event will be held at 1 pm, Monday, May 5 in the Toyota Auditorium. The
event is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Vol Hall Garage
