Title: EDPY 682 Educational Research Methods

Reviewing literature, research design, data analysis, research write-up, and presenting research will be emphasized. A course goal is to develop a unique research proposal in your field of study.

Title: EDPY 583 Survey Research

Course description: This course presents an overview of survey research methods. Developing survey items, survey design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and analysis of survey data will be emphasized. A course goal is to develop a pilot survey on a topic of interest in the student's area of research.

Title: EDPY 533 Program Evaluation

Course description: This is the first course of a two-semester course in program evaluation. This course is designed to introduce students to the field of program evaluation as well as to prepare students to engage in professional practice as an evaluator. Students will learn how to conduct program evaluations in a variety of settings such as education, health, and government. A course goal is for each student to develop a unique evaluation proposal for a program in their area of interest. Students will have the opportunity to conduct their proposed evaluation in Program Evaluation II in spring 2015.
