"The Role of Networks in Understanding Energy, Pollution, and the Economy"

Dr. Christina Prell will examine national and international trade flows at the sector 
and country level by combining network analysis with multi-regional input-output 
analysis. She will seek to identify vulnerable sectors in the face of Peak Oil 
concerns and examine how the positioning of countries within international trade 
networks can impact and predict  pollution  patterns  germinating  from  US 
consumption.
