The College of Architecture is presenting the following films this semester. I've only seen the Ai Weiwei film, which is quite good, but have heard of the others--I think they all should be quite interesting. Films will be shown in McCarty Auditorium, 109, at 8:00 p.m.
Jan 29 | Rivers and Tides (2002) Thomas Riedelsheimer
Portrait of Andy Goldsworthy, an artist whose specialty is ephemeral sculptures made from elements of nature.
Feb 12 | Beauty is Embarrassing (2012) Neil Berkeley
A documentary on the life and current times of artist Wayne White.
Feb 26 | Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) Banksy
The story of how an eccentric French shop keeper and amateur film maker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner.
Mar 26 | Manufactured Landscapes (2007) Jennifer Baichwal
Photographer Edward Burtynsky travels the world observing changes in landscapes due to industrial work and manufacturing.
Apr 9 | Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (2012) Alison Klayman
A documentary that chronicles artist and activist Ai Weiwei as he prepares for a series of exhibitions and gets into an increasing number of clashes with the Chinese government.

Hi Amanda,
Could you include the attached info in your daily email? I think some of our students would be very happy to see these.
