Two emergency power outages to repair a damaged 15KV air switch insulator supporting the 15KV main rigid bus in our 18th Street Main substation have been scheduled.  The power outages will consist of switching power outages for the buildings on the list below. 

The outages will begin as follows:

Switching Power Outage No. 1 will begin on Wednesday, July 23rd, 10:00pm and will continue for one (1-1/2) hours ending on Wednesday, July 23rd, 11:30pm

The purpose of this outage is to temporarily switch the 13.2KV electrical feed from Normal supply to Stand-by. 


Switching Power Outage No. 2 will begin on Thursday, July 24th, 5:00am and will continue for one (1-1/2) hours ending on Thursday 24th, July 24th, 6:30am

The purpose of this outage is to permanently switch the 13.2KV electrical feed from Stand-by back to their Normal source.
