Hello BioTAP network!

Please find attached the preliminary results of the on-line survey we recently asked individuals across the US and Canada to complete. As you might imagine, there is an enormous variability in biology GTA professional development practices, with some institutions having multiple layers of training and support and some institutions having one faculty member working on their own.

At the end of the summary, we created a list of resources we think should be shared among institutions to help each other deliver the best GTA PD possible (e.g. teaching feedback protocols, peer mentoring program procedures, course syllabi, etc.). We are asking folks to send those items through this listserv, or directly to me ([log in to unmask]), and then (with your permission) we can work on posting these items (or your contact information for folks to talk directly to you) on our BioTAP website.
