Hi everyone. I wanted to send out an email to remind you all about a couple of scheduling matters regarding the art history major and minor.
Generally, ARTH 402, which is the majors' research seminar, is only offered in the fall. There have been exceptions to this if there was enough demand to warrant a second class in the spring, but you shouldn't count on that, so you will need to plan to take 402 in the fall before you plan to graduate (which could be that December, or the following May or August).
ARTH 375 is a prerequisite for 402 and is required for art history minors. It is only offered in the spring semester. If you are a major and plan to take 402 next fall (2014) , you should take 375 this spring. If you are a minor and still need 375 and plan to graduate in May, AUgust or December of 2014, you should take 375 next semester.
If you have any questions about when you need to take 375, or 402 if you are a major, please review your DARS report with your advisor.
