Hello everyone, 

I hope you are all doing well.

The annual UTMA Invitational Judo Tournament will be held on Saturday
November 16, 2013. As most of you know, this is the primary fundraising
activity for UT Martial Arts Club and our success heavily influences the
annual funding that our club receives from the university. 

As always, we depend on support from all of the disciplines within our club
to help put on this event.  I hope that we can once again work together to
put on another great tournament, our tournament has grown to be one of the
largest in the southeast region. We will need help with venue set up on
Friday evening, November 15 from about 5:30-9:30. We also need volunteers to
help throughout the day on Saturday, working concessions, scoreboards or
brackets and helping to return the mats to the dojo after the event. Even if
you can only help for part of the time, your help would be greatly appreciated. 

If you could gather a list of volunteers and the times that each can help
out from your classes and provide them to the club officers, Angela
Dautartas and Arvis Blakley, that would help us greatly in planning for the
event. You can also contact me directly if there are any questions or if you
want to volunteer.
