Access Services Librarian:
Tennessee Wesleyan College’s Merner Pfeiffer Library seeks a full-time,
tenure-track Access Services Librarian to work with a service-oriented team
to coordinate collections and services for all of its constituencies. Primary
responsibilities include provision of distance learning services, oversight of
circulation services, and the implementation and promotion of electronic
resources. The Access Services Librarian reports to the Associate Dean for
Library and Information Services. In addition, library faculty participate in
collection development, library instruction, and general reference.
Applicants should be prepared for some evening and weekend hours as well
as travel to off-campus sites.
An MLS is required along with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal
communication skills, the ability to work collegially, and a strong service
commitment.
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
