--- A group of UT students is leading the charge in an international competition that seeks to make a big impact through small steps. Since this fall, more than one hundred students have joined a competition called Small Steps, Big Wins, where undergraduates on campus compete against their peers from other schools to complete social and environmental actions. UT is currently in first place among forty-eight other schools worldwide.

The event Beauty & Beyond will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Humes Multipurpose Room and will help women deal with self-esteem issues and insecurities by bringing in a representative from Paul Mitchell. --- Students have the opportunity to join Impact, a new organization designed to show students what it means to support UT. Impact will work closely with current and future UT alumni to serve as ambassadors of philanthropy. Students will take part in creating the events for "I Love UT Week" in April and again in the fall. Important Deadlines

--- The summer school timetable is now available. Priority registration begins this week. Visit http://registrar.utk.edu to access the timetable of classes, and don't forget to consult your advisor. For more information on summer school, visit http://www.utk.edu/summer.

--- The Dean of Students office is accepting applications for scholarships for undergraduate students based on campus leadership and campus and community service. Students may apply for these scholarships themselves or may be recommended by another member of the community. The application deadline is Friday, March 8. More information and the application at: http://dos.utk.edu/scholarships/. 

--- The Summer 2013 Financial Aid Application is now available online. If you are attending summer classes, please have the form completed no later than April 1 to ensure that aid will be processed in time for Summer payment due date. There is no financial aid available for Mini-Term. Submission after April 1 will not guarantee that the awards will be in place in time for payment.

It also is time to file your 2013-2014 FAFSA. Please make sure to file by July 1 to ensure that your aid is in place in time for the Fall payment due date.
