The H.W. Wilson Foundation, Inc. announces its scholarship program for 
2013 with a total $160,000 to be divided equally among 16 ALA accredited 
programs.

*New York, NY**December, 2012*

The Board of Directors of the H.W. Wilson Foundation has announced 
continuation of its support of education in library and information 
science with a new round of scholarship grants.

Since 1957, H.W. Wilson has supported U.S. Canadian library and 
information science schools accredited by the American Library 
Association. This is the second year of a 4 year program which will send 
$580,000 to assist qualified students to the professions in the US and 
Canada.

The following program will each receive a check for $10,000 for 2013:

Emporia State University
University de Montreal
Florida State University
University of Alabama
Indiana University
University of California, Los Angeles
Louisiana State University
University of Denver
Queens College, City
University of New York
University of Missouri-Columbia
Rutgers University
University of North Carolina at Greensboro
Syracuse University
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Texas Women's University
Valdosta State University

Each program may distribute its grant in accordance with its own 
scholarship
criteria as well as divide the total sum to accommodate its particular
needs. Any program which receives accreditation in any year will receive a
grant the year following accreditation.

The following programs are scheduled to receive grants in 2014 and 2015.
