--- Service improvements on the Neyland Express T route are now in effect, and will result in shorter travel times and less waiting between buses. The major changes involve the end of the route detour, the addition of another bus, and service to the agriculture campus going to and from the main campus.

--- A formal opening will be held for the University of Tennessee Humanities Center at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the McClung Museum in Circle Park. Princeton philosophy professor Kwame Anthony Appiah will speak on "The Life of Honor." A public reception will follow in the museum. The event is free and open to the public.

--- The UT Science Forum presents Dr. Nathan D. Blending theater, hip-hop, stand-up comedy, slam poetry, and true-life stories with their own original style, three performers take on racial slurs, stereotypes, and the concept of race itself in this 95-minute stage production. --- The Institute of Materials Management will commemorate the 11th anniversary of 9/11 by hosting Larry Satkowiak, director of the Global Security & Nonproliferation programs at ORNL. Satkowiak will offer commentary on nuclear security throughout the past half-century and how the events of 9/11 impacted the field. --- Operation Big Orange Engagement (OBOE) is a series of three seminars that will be offered during the fall semester for in-coming student veterans to assist them in transitioning between military and college life.
