Dear friends,
Please find attached a flyer of our first archaeology lecture as well as the current lecture program for this year (some spring lectures are still under construction).
Gay Robins, Emory University, will lecture on “The Small Golden Shrine of Tutankhamun: An Interpretation”
Sept. 11 at 7:30 pm in the McClung Museum.
As always, our lectures are free and open to the public. Information: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>; 974-8279.
This lecture is held to honor the memory of Elaine Evans, curator of the McClung Museum, who passed away suddenly last spring. It is co-sponsored by the East Tennessee Society of the Archaeological Institute of America, the Frank H. McClung Museum, American Schools of Oriental Research, UT School of Art, the Department of Classics, and the Department of ReligiousStudies.
We hope to see you there!
