GK Members,

I hope everyone enjoyed their spring break and made it safely back on
campus. We only have 5 weeks of school left. Let's finish strong! This is a
reminder that we will have our regular meeting this Thursday, March 28th at
5:30 in the UC Room 237 (Note that this is not our usual meeting location.
Due to conflicts, we had to change the meeting room this time). 

A few things to keep in mind:
We will have election at our meeting this Thursday. Let me know if you are
interested in running for any officer positions (President, VP, Treasurer,
and Secretary). Also, if you are planning on running, please prepare a short
(3 min or so) speech on why people should elect you.

Also, plan to spend a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the history
and information on GK's website. At the end of our meeting we will have a
few trivia questions, and of course, rewards for those who can give us the
right answer.

I have attached our chapter scholarship applications to this email. The
Walter Herndon-Faye Borthick Scholarship is valued at $500, and the General
Scholarship is valued at $250. In order for our advisers to select the
recipients before our April meeting. They have to be turned in by APRIL 12.
In order to be eligible, you must attend a minimum of 2 meetings or
participate in our service project. Let me know if you have any questions.

Speaking of service projects, March of Dimes is only 17 days away. You can

A side note, SGA election is this week. I highly recommend you to take a few
minutes and check out the policies of both Fuel and Revolt. This is a good
chance for us students to elect representatives to voice our concerns and
opinions. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
