Two (2)  electrical power outages (PO) (See definition of Power Outage) have been scheduled for the buildings listed below. 

The outages will begin as follows:

Power Outage No. 1  [ 1.5 hours]
Will start Saturday, June 23th, 2012 at 4:30 pm and will end on Saturday June  23th, 2012 at 6:00 pm.  

The purpose of this outage is to temporarily disconnect the 15KV feed to Humanities for the Transformer Replacement contract.  


Power Outage No. 2  [ 2 hours]
Will start Sunday, June 24th, 2012 at 4:30 am and will end on 
Sunday June  24th, 2012 at 6:30 am.  

The purpose of this outage is to reconnect the 15KV feed to Humanities for the Transformer Replacement contract. 

Note: Humanities and Social Science Bldg, Humanities and Social Science Parking Garage and McClung Tower and Plaza will have separate power outage letter for work in their areas.  

Definition: Power Outage (PO) - 2 hours
	        The power outage consists of operating a 13.2KV switch at the SUBSTATION. 
 	        This operation turns power off to the complete circuit (all buildings attached 
	        to the circuit).
