Hey Everyone,

This is just a recap of our meeting last week for those of you who were
unable to attend.


Scholarship policy -- we will be maintaining our old policy that you must
attend at least TWO meetings per semester to be eligible. I understand that
some of you might not be able to attend our meetings due to other
obligations, which is why we will add an exception. If you are unable to
attend our meetings, you can participate in ONE service project to qualify
for scholarships as well. (So, 2 meetings or 1 service project)

Next meeting -- we will have our regular meeting on the last Thursday of
every month, which means our next meeting will be on Thursday 10/27 at
6:00pm. Please realize that we only have two meetings left this semester. If
you did not attend our last meeting, you must attend the next two to be
eligible for selection of scholarships or, of course, you can participate in
our service project instead.

Service project -- we will be partnering with Redeeming Hope during the
"Running with Hope 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run." This will take place on Saturday
11/12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. I will have more information on this
during our next meeting. There will possibly be more service opportunities
depends on interest. However, currently this is the only one scheduled for
this semester.

Facebook -- we are in the process of making a new updated facebook page to
post events and announcements. Here is the link. All you have to do is like it.
