I think these are very good points. The group of students that Janet, 
Jessica, Wil and I talked with also got an earful from us about 
interviewing and the like.

As an aside, I am on the TLA conference committee and I plan to propose 
to that group (hopefully later today) that TLA have a resume review 
service or something along that line in place at the TLA conference this 
year. Should they go for this, I will definitely promote it to SIS 
students.  We (TLA) could also do something like this virtually 
throughout the year, but one thing at a time...
