It's time to gear up for another year of great SETA conferences coming
this fall! I am serving as the SETA Atlanta DBA Track Chair and want to
encourage my fellow professionals to submit a presentation proposal for
SETA Atlanta. SETA Atlanta will be held October 23-25 at the Westin
Atlanta Airport, Atlanta, Georgia.

I am the DBA Track Chair and there are a lot of exciting topics that
DBA's and Technical people would be interested in right now.  If you
have experience or knowledge in these or any related topics, we would
love to hear you!   Topics such as WebLogic,  Oracle 11g, ODS 8.2 and
Oracle Streams, Oracle's Application Express, DBA Issues with Workflow,
Imaging, UC4 implementations,  Upgrades and Releases.  One topic I am
particularly interested in is a Code Repository - has anyone done this
and want to share?
 
The LEAD presenter for a session will receive a $50 discount on early
bird registration fees!  Never presented but thought about it?  Now is
the time to give it a try with SETA!  Presented at SETA in the past - we
want you back!  Check out the Presenter's Resources page for topic
ideas, presentation tips, and more.   The deadline for submitting a
presentation proposal has been extended to May 27, 2011.  Don't delay
... submit your proposal now!
 
Submissions may include a presentation, a panel discussion, or a BOF
(Birds of a Feather) topic discussion. If you have never presented
before, consider leading a BOF session. Another option for those who
want to participate but might not have the time to prepare a
presentation is to be a part of a panel of colleagues on a particular
issue. Presentations, panels, and BOFs all combine to make a dynamic
program of interest to you and others in the SunGard HE user community!
(Please note there is no registration discount for panels and BOF
sessions.)
