Folks,
Karen Weaver has argued all along that there may be more copies
around of ELIS 3 that I thought when I wrote my original post. I
wish she were right, but as noted in the last post I just sent, I
could find no evidence for that.
As for the libraries listed below: I based my original statement
that "about half of US and Canadian LIS programs have it" on the
count for the OCLC listing of libraries owning ELIS3--in either print
or online form, which Karen appears to have reproduced below. Within
that listing, I counted the places with LIS programs--and it came out
to about half the total US and Canadian programs.
As far as I can see, nothing Karen has stated in her emails has shown
that my original figures were in any way incorrect.
