On Tuesday March 22, Prof. Michal Artzy of the University of Haifa will talk
about ³Late Bronze Age Anchorages of the Carmel Coast, Israel, and their
Mediterranean Trade Networks²
at 7:30 pm in the McClung Museum.
Prof. Artzy will also give a class seminar on "Excavations at the Ancient
Greek Harbor of Limantepe/Clazomenai, Turkey"
on Tuesday March 22 at 9:40 - 10:55 am in 517 South Stadium Hall, UT Campus.
Both are illustrated lectures, free and open to the public. They are
sponsored by the East Tennessee Society of the Archaeological Institute of
America, the Haines Morris Distinguished Lecture fund of UT's Department of
Classics, and the McClung Museum.
