Course Description:
Principles of Effective Commercial Motor Vehicle Size and Weight Enforcement
(139004) is a 2-day course intended to provide advanced, in-depth
understanding of Federal motor vehicle size and weight regulations and the
importance of State level vehicle size and weight enforcement programs. The
training will provide participants with the tools, techniques, and strategies to
implement effective programs for enforcing Federal VSW regulations.
This course is designed for transportation professionals responsible for
overseeing the preservation of Federal and State highway assets through
annual VSW enforcement planning and Federal certification as well as
personnel directly involved in commercial VSW enforcement.
