Greetings ALISE attendees!
Please join us for the SLM SIG panel session "Innovations and Forces Shaping School Library Programs" organized by SIG chairs Anne Marie Perrault (Buffalo) and Marcia A. Mardis (Florida State) and facilitated by esteemed school library educator Lesley S. J. Farmer (CSU-Long Beach).
Researchers in school librarianship will present their exciting work in a small group format. Topics range from the role of school librarians in reading promotion, school librarian leadership; technology integration; STEM learning and resources; student achievement; and many other exciting topics!
Dr. Farmer will weave her own new research into a session that features new work by doctoral student "Young Guns" Aaron J. Elkins, Melissa Johnston, and Janice Newsum (Florida State) as well as faculty members Daniella Smith (North Texas), and Rick Stoddart (Boise State)
We look forward to sharing this session with you Friday January 7 from 10:30am-noon!
Best wishes,
Marcia Mardis and Anne Perrault
