The University of Tennessee Facilities Services Department will be conducting a Campus wide steam outage beginning on May 13, 2011 at 3:00 PM and continuing until May 22, 2011 at 11:55 PM. This outage is necessary to do maintenance and repair work at the Steam Plant. Repairs will also be made to steam piping, and other steam related equipment across Campus.

We realize that steam services are important to all areas of the Campus. Steam is used for the production of domestic hot water, building heat, sterilizers and cooking among other things.
