Hey everyone!

I apologize for the multiple emails, but I have a few more updates. 

This Sunday, November 7, we are going to volunteer for the Second Harvest
Food Bank Chili Cook Off. I know it's extremely last minute, but we need 4
volunteers to help clean up/tear down from 7-8:00 PM. If you volunteer, we
will give you a free GK t-shirt. Also, you get free drinks and dinner if you
choose to help out. Details from the volunteer coordinator are:

The event is at Worlds Fair Park.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift.

We will be meeting at the large volunteer tent opposite the giant kids
inflatable area.

This is the nearest corner of the park to the Sunsphere (opposite the
fountains).

Worlds Fair Park Drive will be closing at 10 am on Sunday and remain closed
until the event is over.

Please remember to dress in layers, as the high will likely be in the 50’s!

Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunglasses.

If you plan on having a beer please remember your ID.

We will have water and soda for you throughout the day.

We will also have a tasting pass for each of you, so you can enjoy the chili
during an off-time.

(Come early to eat if you are working late, or stay late to eat if you are
working early).

As you know, our New Member Recognition Event is November 18 at 6 PM in the
UC Crest Room. We need a few current members to help out with signing new
members in and handing out programs. You wouldn't have to stay the entire
time. Let me know if you're interested.

I will be selling Graduation Honor Cords at the New Member Recognition
Event. They are $15. If you want to purchase these and can't come to the
event, let me know and I can meet you on campus.

And the last thing..we are going to have a GK Study Day on December 1 from
11:30-1 PM in Melrose Hall. You can come and take a break from studying.
We'll have some kind of food. Details on the specific room will come later on.
