A memorial service for former School of Information and Library Science
dean, Dr. Edward G. Holley, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 12,
2010 at Gerrard Hall on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
campus.
Hosted by his children, Gailon, Jens, Amy and Beth, the service will honor
and celebrate the life of their father who was one of the library world's
most outstanding leaders and highly regarded by those who knew him. (See

A reception in the historic Queen Anne Faculty Lounge at the UNC Campus
YMCA (next to Gerrard Hall) will immediately follow the memorial service.
All who would like to join the family are invited to attend.
Gerrard Hall is located on Cameron St. across from the Old Well and next to
the South Building.
Some parking is available on campus in spaces that are not restricted or do
not require a 24-hour parking permit. Other parking is available for an
hourly fee at:
Morehead Lot - at the Morehead Planetarium on Franklin St.
Rosemary Parking Deck - behind the Post Office at Franklin and Henderson
Streets
Several Chapel Hill City lots
